5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I feel that there isn't nearly enough parent involvement since covid. All of my friends have days where they are able to go to their children's school and volunteer , or to read to their class. (children as old as 4th grade). That doesn't happen here, which makes me think that they have more to hide. On several occasions I've driven by the school during recess and saw zero supervision. Assistants were either talking to one another or looking at their phones. Twice I saw strangers on the OTHER side of the fence talking to my child and other children, it's completely unsafe. The language that the teachers and TA's use with the students isn't appropriate at most times. I've been teaching for over 12 years, and no matter how stressed I was or how bad my day was going, I would never speak to a child in my class, they way that my child and his classmates have been spoken to. They don't do anything to promote kindness amongst their peers. No assembly, or kindness week/ month. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very disappointed at Rosemarie Ann Siragusa and its principal. My 4 YEAR OLD SON was bullied by another student in the class. The other student physically assaulted my son. He choked him and went as far as spitting on my son. I complained to the teacher and nothing was done except a meeting with the teacher.
