4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are some great teachers in this school, but an ineffective principal is what keeps this school from becoming great. This "leader" makes $150,000+ salary, and drives expensive cars, which shows how out of touch she is when almost half of the students in this building are considered "economically disadvantaged". Additionally, the principal treats certain teachers/staff with disdain and in an unprofessional manner; but will allow those she likes to get away with just about anything... these are not good characteristics of a strong leader. It's disgraceful and something needs to be done, but the district level administration won't do anything because they are just as corrupt. I would advise any family to stay far away from this school and Wappingers in general. "This Hilltop Drive address is located in the Town of Wappingers (Wappinger Central School District) and is a great place to live. My children attend very good, local schools and there is a park within a 5 min walk of the address with tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, and other anemities. There's also a small fishing pond near the park. It's close enough to Route 9 for shopping and attractions, but you still feel at peace when you're at home. I think the poster below is talking about Hilltop Court near 9D."
