"This area isn’t for the weak of heart. You have your noses neighbors as well as your quiet neighbors. I’ve lived here for 12 years and I’m done with the drugs and panhandling. I live close to a park and I wouldn’t stay long playing with my kids, due to the fights and shootings.im looking to move out."

"I just moved into Mariner's Harbor from Bay Ridge Brooklyn and I'm actually really enjoying it. The real estate tax is HALF of what it was in Brooklyn! And even if I take the Verazzano Bridge everyday (back and forth), it still doesn't add up to the real estate tax I was paying. I have a 2 space parking garage and I'm still only 15 minutes away from Bay Ridge where my kids still go to school. I get there faster from Staten Island than when I was in Brooklyn with all that traffic. I still love Brooklyn and the Ridge, but this isn't bad at all. Love it here."
