6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a student at this school, and unfortunately the nursing department has significant issues that need improvement. The nurses have been unprofessional in their interactions with my mother and I. They have hung up on my mother and dismissed my medical concerns without adequate evaluation. Additionally, they have kicked me out without justification. The school's policies, such as charging for replacement ID cards and requiring doctor's notes for absences, are problematic and negatively impact students. Many of the teachers are also an ongoing problem, as they have been rude and insensitive toward disabilities. One teacher even yelled at me to “shut up” even though I can’t control how loud I am and another teacher has allegedly done disturbing things that indicate questionable character and judgement. While I understand budgets are tight, addressing these systemic problems with staff training and improved policies would go a long way to improving the overall school culture and student experience. "My favourite place in NEw York, best for family, great schools and super safe. Big backyards, good wild life around. Many different animals and birds. And 2 hours from Manhattan by car average, 1,5 hours train to be in center of city. "
