7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, School 5 is a wonderful school and my children have many positive memories and experiences with the majority of the teachers there! We were not a fan of the principal at the time, but she is no longer there. We do like the new Principal very much!Parent Review4y ago - School 9m Oceanside Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis middle school is tops. Multiple elementary schools meet up in the middle school. For 500+ students, the team divisions are efficient and break each team to form deep bonds with teachers and amongst the students. Course offerings, extra curriculum and bussing is abundant.Parent Review9mo ago - Castleton Academy High School Of Oceanside

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI deada$$ saw a fight every single day at this prison of a school. The teachers pick favorites and make it obvious to the kids they do not like. This school enables kids with issues and the teachers do absolutely nothing to change it. The teachers have asked me and other former students before to watch any fight videos we took of other students so they could laugh (the school was on the news for having over 100+ unreported incidents at the school in ONE SCHOOL YEAR !!!). The scraps of lunch that get provided are leftovers from the other schools in the district (the amount of times they've given me expired milk is insane). And if you don't qualify for the free prison food lunch then you get to go out and buy your food every single day. If you're not as vocal about your lesser living conditions as other students then the teachers will actually belittle and bully you about it. This school takes advantage of underprivileged kids and does almost nothing to help. Most (if not all) graduates from this school end up doing nothing with their lives. It's very rare if any graduates even go to community college after high school. This place is an actual living h3ll.Other Review2y ago - Check out schools near 16 Gateway.
