4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a well-run elementary school that challenges children of differing levels. The faculty is very committed ... and the parent involvement is running. All of Port Chester's elementary schools share this same sort of experience. I have been in public education for decades and I have seldom witnessed such teacher evolution as you will find in these schools. They are miracle centers that service different learners magnificently.Port Chester schools are the best kept academic secret in the Sound Shore area.Other Review6y ago - Port Chester Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePort Chester High School is fast becoming one of the most dynamic schools in Lower Westchester. The adoption of the IB program a few years back has set a new route for these schools. The population is diverse, but each year their composite performance improves ... and now it is routine to see youngsters applying to top tier colleges. The transformation over the last decade has been stunning. A new $80 million bond will shine this school ... and the lower schools ... over the next several years. Port Chester is moving into rarified territory ... and the community has firmly embraced this academic leap and decided to provide their students with the best of the best. The faculty at OCHS is professional to the nth degree ... a seasoned crew that has credentials and expertise one does not often see in such quantity. There is a special sort of loyal commitment among the staff that is just unusual ... and rather amazing. In the next few years, PCHS will emerge as the new leader in region ... and the Village will become the "must" stop among discerning home-buyers toking to provide a rich living experience along with a value educational moment for their children.Other Review6y ago - Check out schools near 57 Shelley Ave.

"I move from Queens Queens NY to Portchester about 17 years ago for work. I thought it was gonna be hard to get used to because in my old neighborhood of Woodhaven I had neighbors from different countries and that's why I love it. I was very pleasantly surprised Portchester had the same friendly and multicultural atmosphere. I love it here ."
