A lot of Bullying,Physical fights between students, teachers never intervene or see anything.Vaping in the bathroom (6th graders) swastikas and more bullying …again, Teachers don’t see anything. Teachers give “sarcastic” answers to students and often confiscate kids belongings . Educators don’t seem to have much experience with kids. Principal is always too busy to answer parents emails or return phone calls.The food sold at the Cafeteria is just horrible and fried.( so my kid says) The place is an absolute mess as far as administration I’m pulling my kid out.

As a parent of 2 students that went to this school its amazing! But ever since Dr Meoli left this school has gone downhill fast. My sons teacher makes math very confusing my son told me. Although my son isn't the best at understanding questions the teacher should at least try to explain it in a different way. The teacher once told my son he was wrong? He is never wrong.

My daughter is in 9th grade in Schreiber and she is happy. She is taking honor classes and clubs. She said she loves the social walker that she is meeting with. She is in sessions with the counselor and older students to cultivate further years in Schreiber. She is excited about electives that she can take next year.She walks on Main Street with her friends after school to have fun. She told me that people in Schreiber are generally respectful and kind. She even witnessed one immediate action from school counselor when one of her friends was bullied. There will always be various bullying issues in all high schools, but I believe that people in Schreiber will try their best to solve problems and educate teenagers to be better members of this community. Lots of my friends recommended few different high schools with better school rating in Long Island. But this school was the best choice for my daughter.
