Toxic, unaccountable leadership that will shift blame to parents rather than taking any responsibility for the actions of teachers and staff. 49% of the teachers and staff at this school hate their jobs, 49% hate children, and the remaining 2% will be ruined by the others eventually. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here until my junior year. One of the guidance counselors spends a large part of her day socializing with other staff rather than helping students. The school nurse is rarely available, there are days she's gone for 4 periods and even when she's their not much of her attention is put towards the students. The principle is rarely there. The school deals very poorly with issues like anxiety and depression. They have some good clubs (Multicultural club, Drama club, Amnesty International, etc). They teach french, spanish, german and one of the language teachers even teaches farsi during her free period. They have some AP, and honors options. They are the only school in the area offering photography with film cameras(This may have changed as the art teacher retired). I believe they excel in swimming, but definitely not a school for football players. The football team seems sadder each year. The best teachers/staff; Ms. Fresn Ms. W-T Mr. Larose Ms. Seeber Coach Latremore The worst; Heather Hall Mr. Hurlock Nurse Maggie Ms. Levaque Ms. TreganStudent Review9y ago

"They would like friendly people that surround the area. Dog walkers also have close access to the park where people frequently walk their pets. Theres also a space to throw a ball to dog in the park"

"There are many programs and opportunities for kids to be involved in downtown. There are many safe neighborhoods but some areas that are not ideal due to student housing or run down rentals. Overall a very nice place to raise a family."

"Small town nothing to do. People here think they are “fast paced’ New Yorkers which is hilarious. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen and everything is overpriced to pay for NYC but 5 hours away."

"Great place to raise a family. Safe and sheltered- almost too much. Very little diversity of opinion or cultures, has its own issues; but all small towns do. If you’re involved with your kids and your family you can easily work around this. "

"bad area of the city, noisy at night, train going by three times during the midnight hour to six blasting, wrong way drivers taking the corners at 60 mph in the middle of the night, lots of shady looking characters in the vicinity, theres a reason the prices of the houses are so cheap"
