2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI HATE THIS SCHOOL!!!! I am deeply disgusted with the School District for the way they handled replacing the Principal. They gave NO WARNING to the fanilies, students - NO ONE!! The Superintendent, Dr. Jones should be ashamed of herself for mishandling the children of Medford Elementary. I contacted the Commissioner in Albany over this.Parent Review4y ago - Patchogue Medford High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my kids graduated from Patchogue Medford and were on honor roll quarter after quarter. Now, both are in college getting good grades. Patchogue Medford was a good experience for both my kids. No issues and in particular, guidance was excellent as were many of the teachers. Thank you Patchogue Medford.Parent Review5mo ago - South Ocean Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is highly underrated. They might not put as much focus on state tests as other schools but instead make sure your child learns material that will benefit him/her in High School. They focus on your child as a whole and provide ample opportunity for academic growth. The student body is diverse in a healthy way. Children learn to engage with peers from different backgrounds instead of growing up in ethnocentric and classist bubbles.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 39 Case Ave #1.

"Great restaurants, family friendly, close to water, shopping, churches and many more. It's clean. There is easy access to health care, meaning:(Hospitals, first responders and friendly police forces..)Although there is good public Transportation, most neighborhoods are not accessible without a car wish create traffic but I wouldn't trade it for any other place :(For someone that lived in the city and Brooklyn for a long time this says a lot. )"

"Lots of boutique shops, hip restaurants and bars, and close to train station and beach. The village is constantly bustling with shoppers, joggers, and bar hoppers. The housing market is shrinking, as it is a popular place to live, and getting to be more so with every passing year. By no means is this cosmopolitan, but rather a mix of tight nit and weekend warriors. The festivals that come around all year long are pretty good, but the one that seems to draw the most people are Alive After Five and the Great South Bay Music Festival. "

"We live in the village and love it. Stores, Restaurants, Night Life...all top notch. No need to go anywhere else. Lived in Pat-Med my whole life, all of my kids have gone to or are still in school. Don't listen to the haters, Schools are fine. We have the same issues as all the other districts. Kids who look for trouble will find it anywhere..... Would recommend Patchogue and especially the village to anyone looking to buy on the south shore...."
