9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in Grade 2 and has been attending PS 87 since Kindergarten. Her teachers have all been phenomenal, each in their own unique way. My daughter is getting an education on the level of a private school, with the added benefits of economic and social diversity. I've dropped by her class a few times now and the kids are attentive, and well behaved and creativity is encouraged. It's also a good cohort of kids - I am not aware of any issues with bullying. Going thru sat prep , regents is not easy for a 11th grader, but the teachers have been there with her supporting and guiding .
