9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school gets worse every year. The principal does not work with parents and perhaps even worse, teachers. So many have left in our time there. The DL program is more of an exposure program. The children learn to understand the language pretty well but leave with very limited fluency (Think first semester student that didn't really apply themselves). The teachers are lovely though and very kind. In our experience overall, just plan on being your child's teacher and having the school experience supplement your own teaching. If all that is your cup of tea, enroll your child, if not, I would look elsewhere.Parent Review2mo ago - Community Action School Ms 258

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a current student at CAS. It’s a good school, but definitely has some flaws. The kids there are rowdy, immature, and are bullies. If you are not like them, you are bound to have some trouble. In the few days I was here, it’s hard to talk to someone because they’re so different from me and make me uncomfortable. The teachers are great, but in class I feel like I’m not learning that much. For me, The topics we talk about are sort of easy. I don’t know if it will change. Also, the students in class are very distracting. It’s hard to learn because they are always talking and never let the teachers actually start the lesson. In all, I would not recommend CAS to mature students, you will have a hard time for sure.Student Review1y ago - Check out schools near 382 Central Park W #17N.
