NEW PRICE! -- BEST VALUE FOR A SPACIOUS JUNIOR-4, PRIME UPPER EAST SIDE
Welcome to 340 East 74th Street Apartment 4G -- located on a quiet, tree-lined street in the heart of the Upper East Side. The moment you enter this wonderful Junior 4, you are struck by its size. A gracious foyer leads to an oversized living room with 18 feet of north-facing, wall-to-wall windows. Just off the living room is a dining alcove that could easily convert to a nursery or den. You could also convert the large foyer into the perfect home office -- it can easily accommodate a desk and a wall of bookcases.
The contemporary, dual-entry kitchen features granite countertops and an abundance of cabinet space. The primary bedroom is sunny and spacious with a large walk-in closet. It could fit a king-sized bed and still have room for more oversized furnishings. The bathroom has been nicely renovated. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family had an absolute horrible experience at this school! From the awful administrators, both principal and vice principal, to the incompetent horrible guidance counselor, to mediocre teachers, this school experience for the last several years continued to disappoint. This school failed my child on many levels including quality of services received, to recommendations of classroom placement, to sharing that my child was very behind in the last year of school before leaving and transitioning to middle school. Would have been nice if that was communicated to us years earlier so we could have gotten the supports needed and set him up for success in middle school. Poor communication with parents and overall, just terrible school. I am beyond thrilled that my child will no longer be a student here. Years ago, this school was considered to be an elite public school that was equivalent to a high-end private school. It completely went downhill, and the leadership is really at the core of it. I have many friends who attend the school that feel the same way I do. Do not send your child to this school! There are so many better options in the neighborhood.Parent Review9mo ago - Jhs 167 Robert F Wagner

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePersonally, I would not recommend this school. As a student I can defidently say that this schools safety is horrible. There's fights everyday inside and outside school. I also almost got into a fight in the middle of the yard and the staff were nowhere to be seen. Another topic I'd like to talk about is the education. Wagner's education is honestly not that good. As a student with an average grade of 90's I can assume how teachers just don't care about their jobs and students education and how little students learn about certain topics.Student Review5mo ago - Eleanor Roosevelt High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been very happy with ElRo. The teachers are so helpful and dedicated. I wish there were more events for students to attend outside of class, but the clubs are great. I wish more parents were involved. I think when the school opened up to the 5 boroughs, there is a little loss of parent involvement.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 340 E 74th St #4G.
