9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in Grade 2 and has been attending PS 87 since Kindergarten. Her teachers have all been phenomenal, each in their own unique way. My daughter is getting an education on the level of a private school, with the added benefits of economic and social diversity. I've dropped by her class a few times now and the kids are attentive, and well behaved and creativity is encouraged. It's also a good cohort of kids - I am not aware of any issues with bullying. The afterschool program is excellent as well. My daughter loves going to school. It's a huge weight lifted to know that she's happy and well cared for.Parent Review8mo ago - The Anderson School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is truly a gem of the school. Small, academically superb and welcoming. It’s the closest your child will get to private like education without writing a 50-70k check each year. But make sure they love music. Truly into it. What separates this school from other performing art schools, in my opinion, is pre conservatory level approach to music. The dedication is seen and heard all through the school’s hallways.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 28 W 76th St.
