Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
Your very own home in Harlem! Built in 2000, 20' wide, 4 story, 3 family townhouse on 118th street is low maintenance and ready to move-in.
The owner's duplex encompasses the second and third floors. Step through the front door and instantly feel at home with a large, open, living/dining/kitchen which is 40' from front to back. The new kitchen has been renovated with a center island, Rutt Regency wood cabinets, Bosch dishwasher, GE stove, Samsung refrigerator, and granite countertops. A powder room off the kitchen is convenient for guest use. Small touches like a pull-out spice rack and a fully-vented hood make this kitchen a delight to cook in.
The 18x11 dining room with south-facing windows can seat as many as you can invite. The current table seats 12 comfortably. An adjacent utility room behind the kitchen houses the hot water heater, boiler, meters, and shutoff valves.
The second floor shares access to the sun-drenched 42.5' long back yard. A Weber Genesis gas grill is a must-have for this yard, so it is included with the sale.
The third floor has an oversized primary bedroom (18'8" x 10'8") with three closets containing over 10' of hanging storage. A fully-vented XL Maytag Washer/Dryer is located in the hall. Two bedrooms and a full bathroom complete the floor.
A beautiful skylit staircase greets visitors to the 4th floor. It has a full kitchen, full bath, and four bedrooms. Originally designed as a 2 bedroom apartment, it is easily converted back into a 2BD by the removal of a single wall.
The garden level functions as a perfect rental apartment, generating approximately $2,200 in monthly income. It is currently laid out as a large 1BD apartment but originally designed as a 2BD. Work was completed to open one window into a door to the back yard. Four closets (one a walk-in!) provide plenty of storage space for the apartment.
This townhouse features central air with a Panasonic ductless split system AC & heat. The house is pristine and has been very well-maintained: the electric has been upgraded to 20 Amp power, the cornice has been worked on so the water drains perfectly through the downspouts, and the facade is in excellent condition. The roof has been recently serviced, and the mechanicals are all in good working order.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePS30 is terrible! There are only about 5 or less good teachers, but then again they have to follow what the principle says. If the DOE gets rid of the principle, assistant principle, and most teachers, replace them with I want to help children succeed attitude, I want to help students want to love/like going to school, be loving/nice/professional/caring/ stern/understanding, discipline only the children who are acting out and not the whole class, then he school will have some potential. Other than that, this school sets children up to fail. Let's not forget get the people that don't work for the department of education taking care of your child in the school. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! I feel bad for the students at PS30.Parent Review6y ago - Columbia Secondary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter transferred in 11th grade. School is great! From the first day we walked in, leadership is very supportive. They are welcoming, attentive, always friendly, always find time to help.Education is strong and challenging. Many students are well prepared and therefore teachers are able to challenge them with harder material. We feel that our kid will be adequately prepared for college. There are many clubs to choose from, journaling, gardening, tutoring, college preparatory, etc. There are also few sport's teams. School is very safe. Kids are well behaved. Teachers are supportive. Kids love to go to this school.Parent Review1y ago - Urban Assembly-Global Commerce

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI didn't enjoy my visit to the school. The principal and assistant principal were both rude, arrogant, and patronizing. Which did not create an inviting environment.Other Review8y ago - Check out schools near 2 E 118th St.
