Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
Put your finishing touches on this high floor, flexible space, currently used as a 3 bedroom, with a possibility for 2 full baths, with sunny Southern exposure and lovely city views. Original details, high ceilings and pre-war moldings give this gracious apt a wonderful flow and endless opportunities for the next buyer.
The kitchen, with a large window facing west, has stainless steel appliances and the some of the original upper cabinetry which is easily restored. Many people in this line have opened the far wall, creating a pass through into the living room, or a breakfast bar.
Also in the kitchen is the half bath, which is adjacent to the non-working dumbwaiter. Others in the building have utilized that space to create a full bath with access from the hall. This would create a second full bath (with board approval).
The living room benefits from three large windows facing south with unobstructed views over brownstones and a private park. The ceiling height is 9 4, and the floors throughout the apartment are the original hardwood. In addition, most of the original glass paned French doors and with glass hardware is intact as well.
Adjacent to the living room is the original dining room, currently used as a bedroom. It is separated by the original French doors. This is a large room with the same lovely Southern exposure as the living room.
The main bath is renovated with a small window. The hallway has a linen closet. Off the hallway is the master bedroom, also facing south. The master bedroom has two spacious closets. Across the hall is the third bedroom with two large windows facing north.
The entire apartment is quiet and calm, facing 94th street and benefitting from a high floor placement.
The intimate 36 unit co-op building has a live-in super, playroom, bike room and laundry room. 160 w 95th street, built in 1914, with its elegant lobby, is 2 blocks from the new Trader Joes, 2 blocks from Whole Foods, close to the 1,2, B, C trains and the 96th street bus transverse.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love this school, its educators, administrators and community. Our daughter has been attending since 1st grade- she is now in 4th- and every year I’m just blown away at how incredible her teachers are- absolutely professional educators but also nurturing and caring. They truly know my daughter and care for every child. This school is a community and you feel it the second you enter the campus. It’s a very special place and they foster an environment among the kids where kindness and acceptance is priority. We have also always been so happy with the student-teacher ratio, which allows lots of one on one time and focus on each student. Our daughter is excelling in every subject and learning so much year over year. We honestly are so lucky to be at PS75 and can’t wait to send our second daughter next year.Parent Review3mo ago - Community Action School Ms 258

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a current student at CAS. It’s a good school, but definitely has some flaws. The kids there are rowdy, immature, and are bullies. If you are not like them, you are bound to have some trouble. In the few days I was here, it’s hard to talk to someone because they’re so different from me and make me uncomfortable. The teachers are great, but in class I feel like I’m not learning that much. For me, The topics we talk about are sort of easy. I don’t know if it will change. Also, the students in class are very distracting. It’s hard to learn because they are always talking and never let the teachers actually start the lesson. In all, I would not recommend CAS to mature students, you will have a hard time for sure.Student Review1y ago - Check out schools near 160 W 95th St #8C.
