3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLexington’s Academy is amazing school. Dr. Hernandez and the staff cared about the children education and well being. I have 2 children that attended the school. 8th grade and kindergarten. I transferred my son to the school in the second grade, because the school he went to was not helping him. My son was behind. When he came to Lexington Academy my son grade improve . And it was the best decision I made. Both my kids love the school. And I would recommend this school. Def one of the best public school in Spanish Harlem .Parent Review1y ago - The Heritage School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, this school has declined over the past few years. The assistant principals have been following the principal with blind eyes. Everything is becoming about numbers. This is an Ed Opt school— they will never have an amazing population of students. Unfortunately, the principal is unrealistic and irrational in his demands.Other Review4y ago - Check out schools near 1595 Lexington Ave #3A.

"The neighborhood may not be the safest or cleanest of them all but the housing is affordable. There are stores on almost every corner and many super markets. You are close to the 6 train line and a few different buses like the M115 and BX99. You are close by the FDR highway so parking can sometimes be hard to find if you own a vehicle that is. But overall even though this place may not be ideal for you it’s a place to stay until you are able to afford for another place of your choice."
- Melenee B.
- Resident
- 3y ago
"Easy walk to several parks with dog runs and Central Park... You can easily walk your dog along the east river promenade. "
- Joyce T. B. .
- Resident

"There is NO dog park. A dog park is needed badly in the neighborhood because there are a lot of dogs in the area."
- Courtney M.
- Resident
- 3y ago
"Big park, track and field, swimming pool, community center, skate park, playgrounds all in one convenient area. The target and costco nearby make a huge difference!"
