"I have lived in the east village for 7 years now, and love every bit of it. This neighborhood is a true unicorn in the island of Manhattan. It actually has a neighborhood atmosphere. It’s much less expensive than the west village, while being only A 10-15 min walk from there. Super close to union square, soho, LES, and the east river park! You can find any type of cuisine within a 5 block radius here. I love it and will be sad when it comes time to move. Raising kids here would be difficult."
