4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is stupideus. My kid has been given lunch detetion for only being 1 minute late. In the real world 1 minute doesn't really matter, just be prepared. The students are really inmature. Most teachers are unfair. The only good thing about this school is the diversity. But barely. They favorite the "good" students, and treat the regular students like they are trouble. This used to be a well balanced school, now this school is just a joke really.Parent Review1y ago - Monroe Woodbury High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageConcerned Parent here! First hand information by a student who didn't graduate her senior year as she did not feel safe. She completed her senior year through homeschool and she is so happy she did so. She felt unsafe by the students and staff. She mentioned drugs were being sold in the bathroom. the principal was punched in the face by a student and just like that the principal resigns. Having sex in the school is not something you want to hear from students about where your child is to attend. If I were you I would look out after considering this school as it has gone down hill and does not seem to be a place you want to send your children. Protect your children from the dangers that be whether school or else where , It makes no difference. Be smart parents. We came from a rough side of the city and know better to pass down the cycle to our children. Make the right choice for your children and protect them from these dangers. This school get a big Fat Zero across the board. This school is not the definition of excellence. The system is Broken . Make a stand for your children's future. Give them a head start to stay in line and prosper. No to this school.Parent Review7mo ago - Pine Tree Elementary School

"A great area for walkers! I was so fit when I used to live in this area with its pleasant parks and a classic Main Street with fun shops, sweet people, neighborhood library, etc. Walking to the Shortline commuter bus, or the short drive to the train is so handy and stress free. Crane Park is just across 17M and is convenient for children, and I liked to jog around the lakes by the Mill Pond, or the rail trails towards Museum Village and the O&R lakes. Additionally, Smith Clove Park is about a mile away. Monroe Diner was like a second home and the medical services on Gilbert St. and Shoprite shopping center make it possible to live without a car. Sorry I had to leave it for an out-of-state job. It's rare to find something so close to NYC (c. 1 hr.) yet having the best of small town life."
