4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred here from a Blue Ribbon School District this year going into his senior year. We regret not moving here sooner. The kids have been so welcoming. The Teachers are so caring too. Our old District put so much pressure on academics. My son is high honor roll & for the first time, looks forward to attending after school clubs three days a week. The school has a diverse population which has been great as well. I love that once a month there's no homework night for family connection night & yes, it's on the school calendar!!!Parent Review2y ago - Woodhull Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAn amazing experience. I've got 2 children going through the HUFSD since preK and I've been blessed to have my kids guided by wonderful teachers and staff. They are both going through the dual language program and are both honing thier skills at speaking Spanish. This is a well rounded muti cultural learning experience that is preparing my 2 kids for the real world ahead...Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 26 Golf Ln.

"A quiet, safe neighborhood with a good mix of young families and older people who watched their own kids grow up here. Flat, wide streets perfect for bike riding and walks with neighbors and pets. It’s convenient to highways, town, train station and schools but remains tucked away and private. A really nice place to live."

"The neighborhood association organizes a Halloween party, Easter egg hunt and Christmas caroling w/visit from Santa for children every year. The local fire department drives through the neighborhood the week before Christmas with Santa to bring holiday cheer to the residents. The people living here are quite friendly, saying hello and stopping to chat even with new residents. It’s a really lovely, quiet place to live that’s conveniently located and family-friendly."

"I was born and raised in Huntington Station! Now I may not like the area too much as it is changing rapidly and we had to install an alarm system but I feel our block is safe and I love our neighbors! At least most of them. Some of the neighbors on our block down attend to their houses and keep them in such a disarray that it was really embarrassing! I wish I could get their act together and realize that it really does affect all of us"

"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 11years and have enjoyed it. It's a harworking class community that is in the center of a lot of transit options and 5 mins from downtown Huntington with all that has to offer . It's an up and coming area that's still relatively affordable for the region . I would reccomend living or renting here ."

"I've lived here for 11 yrs, and love it. It is diverse, quiet, extremely friendly neighborhood, with excellent schools. The Mall is 5 min away, access to 5 private beaches, & the LIRR. The Village is Artsy. filled with restaurants, The Paramount Theatre. and many Shops. Up and coming Improvements to the Station have been approved, and some started. This neighborhood is on the rise."
