3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started school there after Headstart and is now an Honor student in the High School. The school was the beginning of nurturing his interests and encouraging him to explore all posibilities. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Band, Jazz Band, All County and All State Music, participates in NYSMA yearly, Varsity Football, Wrestling, & Track, Theater, etc just to start. The school system offers but the teachers encourage and guide.Parent Review13y ago - Hudson Falls Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMixed results with the school staff. They want you to think they care about parents opinions or decisions but they do not. They are also very sneaky within the community and rely heavily on Facebook and Google. The schools budget is on par with some of the largest schools in the area but falls short of showing anything for it. If you have kids that go to this school, be prepared to do a lot of the teaching yourself so you know they’re getting taught correctly and learning what they should. I have three children that were all honor roll and merit roll students. Mainly because of us…….Parent Review1y ago - Hudson Falls High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI didn’t realize how poor my education was until I went on to attend college. A majority of the teachers are absolutely wonderful at Hudson Falls, but the main issue is that a lot of the students are not interested in learning. Those students negatively influence the learning environment. Students are there for socialization, sports and because they have to be. Another issue with Hudson Falls is that verbal/physical bullying/harassment is common and nothing gets done about it. When students go to an adult for help they’re bullied even more than they were before. The athletic opportunities at the school are wonderful.Other Review7mo ago - Hudson Falls Intermediate School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile the home room teachers seem mostly competent and dedicated, there seems to be an overall sense of apathy. A "let's just get them through this" kind of attitude. Opportunities or invitations for parental involvement are almost nil. The foods in the school lunch program are horrible. The science program and after school music program are disappointing at best, and until recently the art program was downright abusive. I personally can't wait to get my kid out of this entire district.Parent Review10y ago - Margaret Murphy Kindergarten Center

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had a decent experience while my daughter attended the Margaret Murphy Kindergarten Center. My daughter was treated well in every aspect, but the communication between the school and parents as far as regulations and policies for a student with a special diet wasn't neccessarily the greatest and my daughter missed out on things she shouldn't have had to miss out on as far as special snacks goes. Overall though, the school was fairl good.Parent Review12y ago - Check out schools near 14 Olive St.
