7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest son went for 6th and 7th grade to IRMS and I hated it! We came from Maryland and pretty much everything he's been told in 6th grade at IR he already knew from 5th grade in Maryland. Their was no extra work for him. The discipline is a joke. We had a couple of situations where my son got bullied and he ended up being punished because he said something to a teacher ! I always told my son to walk away or tell an adult but don't fight back. After all these bad experiences at IR, it is very sad but I have to say I can not expect him to do that no more. My son's teachers, Mr. Hebert and Mrs. Fowler are amazing! The atmosphere difference from Calcium Primary and this school is like night and day. I am looking forward to an awesome year. "I've lived in this neighborhood for three years and like it. Everybody basically keeps to themselves which I like. At Christmas, the fire department drives through town with a "Santa" and elves and sleigh. It's adorable. Truly "Main Street USA". "
