8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGotham Avenue school is an amazing elementary school. My children have attended this school since kindergarten. We are so pleased with the staff. The teachers go beyond the call of duty. They are very quick to respond to parent concerns. Each year my twins who are placed in different classes have each had outstanding teachers. The school offers many after school clubs, a Saturday academy as well as a wonderful summer school program. The school offers parent workshops that are very interesting and informative. The PTA does their best to provide programs and services to the school as well. I am so proud to say that my children attend Gotham Avenue School. Mrs. Cabell who is now in charge of the special education program is phenomenal. I can not thank her enough for her dedication to providing services for our students who are in need of special education services. The administrators at Gotham Avenue truly care about the well being of every student. The school has stepped up their security system with the installation of new cameras and entry system. "I’ve lived here my whole life, 38 years. It used to be homey and safe but things have gone downhill in the last 10 years or so. Cars are stolen and homes are burglarized often in the surrounding area. Packages are stolen daily on my street. Police do little to stop it. "
