3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHas so much potential. Sports activities seem to be the main concern. Children fall behind only to be diverted to a private out of pocket tutor. Children who excel have to sit in class and be bored out of their minds because there aren’t any enrichment programs to help develop their natural learning path. “Sports help with teamwork and mental health.” How about when a child is not looking forward to going to school because they are so far behind, their self confidence is destroyed??? How about supporting teachers who are overwhelmed with students with behavior problems or aren’t even prepared to be in a school setting because parents do not teach these children to hold a pencil or potty train them?There is a reason why this district has been ranked among the bottom of the barrel! If a student is in danger of hurting themselves or other’s that’s understandable but if a student comes to a staff member to express some issues happening at home or with another student, it should be kept confidential and find ways to help the student versus. When reaching out to school staff about certain things, it’s almost like you have to constantly remind them. Teachers are great but school staff needs some more in depth training. Many students do walk around with no respect to parents driving in to pick up their child. They will walk right in front of your car or even cross in front having you to hard stop.
