5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePretty terrible, most of the staff are nice but some do get very angry, to the point of literally screaming at the kids and the amount of times i've experienced this is ridiculous (it also happens more in special ed classes than regular ones). I know you can't really control the kids but so many of them are rude. You get bullied for literally anything at this school and not to mention that the counselor will treat you like a toddler and when you tell them things they'll just brush past it like it's nothing (most of the time anyways). One thing i like about this school is basically some of the teachers because they can be very nice and helpful but some are just not as kind as the others which is a problem in all schools so it's not the districts fault. Overall, this school can do way better than what it does. Also all of the people i've meant who went here will tell you how horrible it is so it's definitely not just me.Other Review9mo ago - Blasdell Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrontier is the classic example of a once-great school that gets dragged down by the issues from its central office. The district has been in financial crisis for years and that along with the high Superintendent turnover really has impacted the high school in a negative way. Many great people have had to be laid off and strong programs cut, while class sizes have gotten bigger. Both students and teachers have grown discouraged about the district, and a lot of students are just down right apathetic about education. There's a lot of potential in this building but it's being dragged down from all the drama stemming from the district office. Also, it's downright impossible to substitute teach in this building because the secretaries love to reassign you to cover other classes during the day.Teacher Review8y ago - Check out schools near 3711 James St.

"Good neighbors. get to know your neighbors helps the community be aware of any people that are up to no good and build a solid family structured community. Parents should be for the most part safe to let kids play outside with others but also know that there is no safe place anywhere anymore . Always be alert"

I would recommend it to anybody. it has nice parks. good neighbors and it's always cool. because of the river.
