Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
This perfect mother-daughter home has several features that are rare to find together in a single property in Brooklyn. Semi-detached, brick and stone house. Back, front and side yard plus porch. Space. Closets galore. Custom built-ins. Classic features like arched doorways, wood moldings, wainscoted walls and a vaulted ceiling in the living room. Tree-lined block with private parking and close to public transportation. You get all of this with an opportunity to own a prospective 2-family home for the price of a single family house in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Brooklyn...When you enter this home, you realize quickly just how big this property is. A sun-drenched master bedroom, two additional bedrooms, a generous living room, formal dining room, and bathroom that is so large, it can be split into two, outline the ample space. The beautifully laid backsplash in the upgraded kitchen ties together the bevel-edged granite countertops and special-ordered solid wood cabinetry. We?ve counted 10 closets throughout the house, including a walk-in custom-made cedar closet on the first floor. Downstairs can be used as self-contained one bedroom apartment-- with its separate entrance-- or integrated with the upstairs unit through use of the internal staircase. The unit has a small, full bathroom, huge eat-in kitchen and spacious living area. This immaculately maintained home has two meters and is currently taxed as a two family house: for the most part, it has everything it needs to get a revised certificate of occupancy as a two-family home. With the exception of the upstairs bathroom, which would need updating in the event that the color pink is not a preferred choice, this home is move-in ready. Whether for current use as a mother-daughter, or future investment as a multi-family house, this is a gorgeous property that should be seen.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I were able to say H** NO I wouldn't recommend this school I would gladly do so. This school is sad and lacking skills. The staff (not all) for one lack interpersonal skills. For a district to rave about black power and leadership, this school is surely doing a great job at failing the BLACK community. Its okay to rave about a black leadership but when a school system fails to do the bare minimum, why be so happy? This is a SHAME. The staff (not all) in this school are unjust. They will help the parents that they get along with and watch other parents suffer instead of lending a hand. The principal is just as worse. You are lucky if you were ever able to see her or speak with her. I am not saying that staff here is bad but they definitely don't care. Actions speak louder than words. THIS SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE EVALUATED. The parent coordinators are both poor advocates and it is just so unfortunate. Luckily, something will be done. Clearly, this school is not advancing and it has so much to do with the lack of care they have for the students they "serve". I do hope for a change because the children enrolled in this school with suffer drastically without any change.Parent Review2y ago - Middle School of Media Law and Fine Arts (The)

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am an actual student at this school. I've only been there for a year so far. But I am going there for 7th grade. This school is really nice. They have these sweet and caring people working for after school and they are free. They feed us, help us do our homework, and let us do the activities we pick. There is basketball, martial arts, chorus, step, dance, cooking, Photography, and arts and crafts. Also, during the day, we have nice teachers that try to bring out the good in even the hardest students to deal with. One of he best perks about this school is, we have talent shows. We do the activities we do in after school for the talent show or you could do your own act with a group of friends or go solo and enjoy yourself on stage. I do recommend this school.Other Review9y ago - Middle School Of Marketing And Legal Studies

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI Loveeeeee this school. I never was bad at school I just didn't have the motivation to go, my public school that I was in before I felt they didn't care for me or provide me with much help for me to graduate because it was so many students and they always made an alternative school seem like a bad place to be, so I just stop going. However, when I did need to go to school and had no other choice but to go to an alternative school I didn't have high expectations but let me be the first to say this school helped me so much not only did they give me the motivation to continue school but they gave me so much help personally and educationally, I was able to past all my test with an high score they even teach you about real life skills like taxes, credit etc. Which is a bonus to know they gave me an opportunity to work, in a public school where I wasn't expected to even graduate, I wind up graduating from EBC on time and they make you feel very special, they're always supporting you in anything you need. My only regret was not going sooner to spend more years there. My little sister just graduated from their and she graduated early to.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 719 Schenectady Ave.

"There are a lot of public parks to walk your 4-legged bestie. Since many people own dogs everyone takes care to pick up after them. The one thing that a dog owner might not like is that the area is very flat. So there isn’t very challenging terrain."
