"I grew up in this neighborhood. Now It’s disgusting. People leave food outside to be eaten later. They spit on the sidewalk and let their kids pee into the street from the curb. They hold parking spaces for each other even if you ask them if they are leaving. Don’t move here"

"It’s an old school neighborhood, most people have been here for many years. If you’re coming for hipster bars, look elsewhere. This is real NY."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 30 years. I just love it, i attended JR high school in sunset park. The park has endured some changes throughout the years and it’s still changing for good. The ethnicity has also change so drastically but I hope it’s for the good of the neighborhood. The only thing I dislike is the new zoning that has been taking place, giving way to large buildings which equals to more people and less parking spaces which turn out to be a horrible thing. Other than that. I love Sunset!"

"If you are near the R train only, the commute will be a little harder since that train does not run very promptly. If you are near the DNR express stop, then the commute will be much easier"

"Dog owners would like Sunset Park it is a nice walk with a beautiful view of NYCs skyline. People around the neighborhood are scared of dogs walking on the street even with a leash on. This is due their their own cultural differences. The neighborhood is safe and most of the stores and neighbors are Asian. "
