Description

Welcome to 529 83rd Street, a completely gut renovated multi-family building in the heart of Bay Ridge. From the hallways to your intercom in your living room there was no expense spared. Throughout the apartment dark wooden oak floors run across from the living room into both bedrooms which both have closet. The bedrooms which are both queen sized are a great size for shares, or a couple looking for an additional room, such as home study, nursery, etc. The kitchen features a dark natural stone; with a matte gridded tile backsplash that brings out the colors of the light oak wood cabinets and the cherry on top are the new stainless-steel appliances, including a dishwasher. Tons of sunlight flows in from the newly installed windows throughout apartment. The apartment features ductless units, which provide heating and cooling in 3 zones of the apartment along with baseboard heating that is provided at the landlords expense.

The pet friendly building allows cats, and dogs are upon approval.

Heat & Hot Water Included.

Have all the conveniences of living in Brooklyn without the crazy trappings of city life. R train is 3 blocks away. There are loads of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops all around you. "Long, terrible, gross, depressing, discouraging, destroys faith in humanity. The trains take forever and you have to go through bad neighborhoods to get anywhere. Violent criminals on train..."

"This is a divided neighborhood. It is provincial and politically conservative in many parts (which I didn’t realize until moving here). Many FB posts are filled with rants from long standing residents unhappy about “new comers” and immigrants invading their area. On the flip side, there are some beautiful areas, nice walking path on the water, cute independent shops and people working to improve the community."

"We Have a great event in Owls Head Park on Halloween for the children as well as the adults. We have yoga on Shore Road in the summer. There is also different genres of music in the 79 th street and Shore Road park. We are a friendly neighborhood with life long residents as well as many new comers who come to raise their new family. We probably have the safest neighborhood in New York City."

"As an architect, this place was well designed from the get go with goo public transport access, tree-lined streets, wide sidewalks, and stores/eateries to make your stroll enjoyable. Good schools, good parks, and ‘board’ walk along the narrows is great for family life. Good mix of ‘city’ structure with suburb vibes."

"I lived there for about a year , pretty nice area it’s just expensive. Very family oriented and most of my neighbors kept to themselves . The best part is all the stores and the shops are around there and it feels like home when you can get to know your schools, post offices, banks, buses, trains and local bodegas. I miss the summertime in bay ridge , it was fascinating. In all honesty bay ridge is a good community and just a kind of place that has universal liking."
