4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not expect perfection but sheesh!!I worked at this school, and when I say the "teacher" was rude and nasty towards me for no apparent reason.....No matter what I asked... (do you want me to do this, do you need that, I will get it... It was a NO!) then turned around and made a false complaint about me which forced me out of work for weeks until further notice.. The next course of action for them was a meeting. When I had this meeting to discuss what actually went on,.. I had my notes of here treatment as I already was not happy about her or her treatment.. I was not able to talk nor did my representative represent me! At the end of it all, I was told that I better not get in any more trouble OR ELSE he knew that what the "teacher" wrote was true. INVALIDATING EVERYTHING THAT I STAND FOR. I STAND UP FOR THE CHILDREN.. THEY ARE THE ONES I SERVE. I DO NOT LIKE BULLIES AND THEY HAVE ONE AS A TEACHER. I WILL NOT CALL NAMES BECAUSE SHE KNOWS WHO SHE IS AND THE WORST PART IS SHE WORKS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. SHAME ON YOU. SHAME ON THE SYSTEM AS WELL. YOU WHO LET IT HAPPEN. HOME SCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN!!! Since I've worked in the school system and daycares.... I know what I know and I home school my children.. I refuse to let random people just push misleading and false information into my children's mind. PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL WE ARE ONE, SO EACH ONE TEACH ONE.Other Review11mo ago - Is 318 Eugeno Maria De Hostos

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe thought this was a great neighborhood school - the only one in the area that doesn't share space with another school. Because they are big they can offer a lot of options for electives and afterschool activities. They do a great job of not gatekeeping the more advanced courses. My daughter took and passed 4 regents tests in 8th grade which gives her a good foundation for high school. I think she worked harder and learned more in her 7th and 8th grade years than her freshman year in high school.Parent Review2mo ago - Ps 380 John Wayne Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter goes to this school and I used to go to this school it was good when I went but after the new principal it has turned horrible!!! She is so rude and lazy, they took many fun and exciting things away, also my aunt works there and she was talking horribly about her. She was no help when my daughter needed something and she is very rude and strict with the teachersParent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 394 Wallabout St #3.

"The constant building of high rise apartments priced at ridiculous high minimums for terrible and rushed work. Awful people moving in who treat the side walk like a dumpster. Broken glass and dog poop, rats and garbage everywhere. "
- Trulia User

"There are many green spaces and places to play for children. There are dog & skate parks also. Sprinkler in the summer and kids making snow people in the winter."

"we live by morgan L train station. It is mostly safe and quiet but I’ve heard of a few incidents. People from the neighborhood throw garbage outside the trash bins which I find disrespectful but as we all know some people live in an alternative world. There are nice places to eat and summers are really nice. No parks or any green around as this was an industrial neighborhood but you get used to it."
- Trulia User
- Resident

"Accessibility to the city by public transport makes this a central neighborhood. It also makes it a bedroom community. There aren’t no great institutions in this neighborhood: no museums, libraries, nor large performance stages "

"The neighborhood is horribly overpriced, but the environment is cool, and its a chill place to hangout"
