Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
This is NOT your cookie-cutter apartment. This spectacular loft, with a deeded PARKING space in a gated lot, is located in a quintessential converted warehouse with part-time doorman, super, gym, bike room, sprawling common brick-walled garden and barbeque area, common lounge and rooftop terrace with phenomenal city views. Storage is also available.
Set up as a two-bedroom, two-bath loft with a tremendous open living/dining/working area, this apartment can easily be converted to full three bedrooms. Exceptionally renovated, some of the most notable features are the 11' ceilings, exposed wooden beams, hardwood floors, and oversized windows.
A gorgeous, yet understated, custom kitchen features solid-cherry millwork, and an elegant butcher-block island with built-in storage for your heaviest cookware. Viking appliances, Lefroy Brooks and Dornbracht fixtures, and a convenient pot filler over the chef's gas range, are surrounded by fine stone countertops and Ann Sacks floor tiles. In addition to ample cabinet space, there is a full pantry. An in-unit laundry center rounds out the essential conveniences.
Both bedrooms feature sleek, built-in storage that capitalizes on the rooms' high ceilings. The spa-like en-suite bath has soothing natural materials in a Zen color palate, and limestone radiant-heat flooring and a towel warmer for comfort. The second bath is spacious and bright, with heated floors, a full tub and shower.
Situated on a quiet cobblestoned street, at the crossroads of Cobble Hill, the Columbia Street Waterfront District, Carroll Gardens and Red Hook, you will absolutely love everything about living here, including the great shops, services, and restaurants that the local community offers, as well as nearby leafy streets of historic townhouses, and easy access to Brooklyn's incredible waterfront parks and trails. Enjoy the convenience of a peak-hour shuttle to all of the subways at Borough Hall.
Walk-through 3D tour available on the Corcoran web page.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBSGS has a nice student body of very kind students and hard working teachers. The administration is the weakest link. Many teachers leave every year because the principals at BSGS abuse their power and bully their staff. Some students can sense the awkward relationships that the teachers have with the administration. Even with the dropping enrollment of around 240 students (6-12), the principals don't know even half the students by name. The culture of the school is of punishment and rewards not self-monitoring and enchanted learning which it should be lest we develop a herd of one-track thinking sheep. Additionally, the entering freshman class in 2015 never left the building on a single whole class field trip. (Some freshmen were hand picked for a college field trip that took place in April.) Overall, this school is in terrible need of improvement. Most students fail their regents exams multiple times. Graduation rates are extremely low. Mid-year schedule changes disrupt the learning process and teachers get burned out very quickly. And the solution by the admin to deal with these gaps is to simply introduce some branding techniques for digital art and the AVID program to lure new students. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.Teacher Review8y ago - Ps 29 John M Harrigan

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs an upcoming 8th grader at this school I’d say for as many good teachers, there are twice as many bad teachers, this school prides itself on diversity while only having one Asian teacher in the whole middle school. The new principal and vice principal are constantly making unnecessary changes without feedback from students that make the school feel more like strict private school rather than a fun learning environment. I’ve made so many friends at this school but there have been a lot of bad moments as well. During school shooter lockdowns which happen frequently the school barely communicates with parents and instead of fixing problems that actually matter they decide to implement things like teachers escorting students to lunch and having to “earn” the right to eat lunch outside of the school, to be honest and frank this school would’ve been a great decision a couple years ago but now with the overwhelming amount of rules it isn’t worth it. You light think I’m just a petty student but these things are real issues that are happening right now ESPECIALLY with the mis-communication with parents during school emergencies!!Student Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 29 Tiffany Pl #1G.
