Description

This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
Bright loft in Downtown Brooklyn with one bedroom and a home office. The current tenants use the office as a bedroom as well. Both rooms can accommodate a queen-sized bed. Newly renovated with a modern kitchen and a dishwasher. Tasteful new bathroom with shower. The ceiling heights are a lofty 12 feet and the floors are painted concrete.

This is a real loft building --one of the few left! There is a ton of storage with closets and a crawl space above the bathroom. As well, there's a lofted area above one of the bedrooms which can be used as storage or a sleeping platform.

We have a common roof deck and garden where tenants grow some vegetables, grill out, and play Bocce Ball. We even raise chickens! It is a really friendly building. There is bike storage in the basement, along with laundry.

This building is one of the last real artist lofts left in Downtown Brooklyn, so call now. Landlord requires first month's rent and one month security deposit.

Closest trains are A/C/F/N at Jay St Metrotech, B/Q/R at Dekalb, 2/3 at Hoyt and 4/5 at Borough Hall. All trains are within a ten minute walk. The building is a 15 minute walk to Dumbo, Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Fort Greene and the Navy Yard. Call, text or email. You will be working directly with the landlord/property manager, not a broker. No Fee.

"Good easy convenient options - can get anywhere pretty much quickly. Many trains but super crowded. "

"This is a racially diverse community but very economically exclusive. Wealth is necessary and required to sustain a livelihood, if you’re looking for comfort expect to pay for it. On the other hand, the views are beautiful and the neighborhood is well manicured and quiet for the most part. Most of the commotion comes from visitors, tourists, and acting action. Another frequent sound is that of traffic, depending on your location you might catch an earful. If you’re a foodie then you’re in luck! There is plenty to explore that’s culturally diverse and ranges in price. Great for a date or quick bite. "

"Fort Greene park is amazing. The grass is well maintained, there are two playgrounds, beautiful flowers and tennis courts. Even on weekends it doesn't feel overcrowded. "

"Lots of people out walking dogs at all times. People are generally courteous and give a wide berth, which is nice to see. One downside is that you will be buying your own poop bags. Not many stations with bags, though I think there are some near the waterfront."

"There are a ton of dogs in the area, but no dog park for them to play around. Owners struggle to find space in Cadman Plaza or Fort Greene park, but those areas have to be “off hours” which are inconvenient for folks with office jobs."
