6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageParent coordinator does not answer her phone , emails you can’t never reach her. This school needs to be re vamped. New staff, teachers and definitely a new principal! A caring principal , a principal that is professional and available for his families. If you looking for a school with a village and a support system this isn’t the school. I wouldn’t recommend this school to my worse enemy. PS 89 is every parents nightmare . If you want your child to be heard and feel safe this is not the school. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal is lazy. He is not even there in the mornings. He treats people of color as second class citizens, and does not she women as equal. He claims that he knows the challenges of being a person of color because he is married to a Brazilian. The superintendent/district should look into it. Not to mention one of the Assistant principal dresses inappropriately with mini skirts and high heels. If you ask me it is inappropriate especially when you working with young adults and she likes to "touch" students and staff.Parent Review2y ago

"there it is a dog park nearby and enough different parks were to walk your dog. It can be dangerous to walk your dog after dark as crime has been in spike."
