1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a temporarily assigned teacher there for several months. I enjoyed the stay there. I felt the principal was very nurturing and committed to the students. His door was constantly open and the students felt comfortable going to him. The only issue I noticed was that the school had several Art genres when it started and are now down to a few. The directory has not been revised and may be misleading to students.Teacher Review12y ago - North Bronx School of Empowerment

"the neighborhood is a mix of single and multifamily homes and mid rise apartments. it is close to everything but also has a feel of neighborhood. the street parking is atrocious however, so if you have a car, you will be sitting it waiting for a space for a long time. it is a good starting point for an apartment."
