"My neighborhood has great access to the Metro North, Express Buses, and buses to Subway. You can also walk for about 30 minutes if you choose for the Subway, if you prefer that to taking buses to it or taking the Metro North. "

"Sucks get ready to walk a lot. The bus is useless. Cold winters and hot summer I am forced to walk down to the train or home because the bus takes forever. I have wake home Faster than the bus. Several times "

"It is not the most diverse neighborhood. It’s taken decades (and lawsuits) for Spuyten Duyvil to properly integrate. There are also not too many young families here, far more elderly and senior citizens. Children aren’t everyone’s cup of tea so just be aware of noise level and play time if you are renting in an apartment building or buy a co-op/condo in a building."

"It’s been a great neighborhood but as of late it’s been on a decline. From sketchy people around the area to the new shelters with addicts now sleeping in parks and deficating on streets and dog runs. I used to love her, but now I think it’s time to leave."

"A foot in the city, the other in Westchester, it carries a mixed bag of the pluses and minuses of both at the same time. If you want quiet accessibility for both autos and public transport, and don't mind being far from nightlife, this is a great area. "
