3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBefore my daughter attended this school a parent of a former FDA V student warned me not to let my daughter attend this school. Long story short, my daughter convinced me to let her go there because her 'friends' were attending as well. That was the worst mistake I made with any of my children, academically! Since day 1 my daughter has been bullied not just by girls, but boys too. At first I thought it would pass but it only got worse so I finally decided to reach out to the principal. She seemed nice, but nothing was done because the bullying only got worse because then my child was labeled a 'snitch'. Things became so unbearable for my child that she became depressed, and begged me not to make her go. Once again I reached out to the principal to see what she can do. The boy that was bullying my child got warnings, that was it. Unbelievable! After a while the principal just stopped responding back to me all together, I guess she got tired of my concerns about my child's well being. The bottom line is, unless big changes happen in FDA V, like it happened in P.S. 57 and now it's a great school, Don't ever send your child here: my daughter's emotionally scared.Parent Review10y ago - Urban Assembly School For Wildlife Conservation

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease, please do not put your children in this school. If I could put no stars I would. My child attended for approximately nine days and I had to remove her. The administration is a hot mess. They lost my child's original records. They never mailed out the summer packets. The students are out of control and no one can control them. Teachers spend more time screaming then teaching. My daughter mentioned the deans and assistant principal would threaten the children with detention or placing them in lower grades but yet the kids still didn't care. I personally went to the school and found two girls kissing in the staircase while classes where in session. No one was monitoring the halls or staircases. The students behave like animals when they walk around the halls and have no respect. My daughter was there for nine days and each day had about 3 fights. Constant bullying.Parent Review6y ago
