2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLooks good initially, but once you scratch the surface its a horrible place to live and raise kids with the main employer in town is a State Run Maximum Security Prison. Imagine all the parents working there, and bringing that kind of horrible interaction home on a daily basis to their family. Then the kids take this to the schools. As the population falls here, the concentration of this evilness only gets worse.Parent Review4y ago - Herman Avenue Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could, I would give it negative numbers. The teachers give the students the answers and don't explain the work. They have to learn it while doing homework and hopefully they have someone willing to actually teach them what they should've learned in school. Teachers have their own form of bullying that they use but get away with because they are teachers. And if anything is brought up about it, it is heavily denied. Problem teachers have gotten comfortable due to tenure and therefore do whatever they want, whether it is bully kids or bully the parents or just plain out be absolutely difficult. Every year is more and more problems at this school.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 9 Mann St.
