4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTraner is a good school to go to. People say its bad because of the kids being bad a school but its not. Some kids at traner don't ask for help when needed and affects there learning if they asked for help when needed the school would have better testing scores but overall its a good school to go to but effort is needed to succeed and get good test scores. I like that the traner staff work hard to teach there students to succeed in life and using variety of methods to teach there students.Other Review9y ago - Procter R Hug High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst of all the traffic is horrendous and the busses situation is terrible second there is a severe lack of chairs just stools with no lumbar support. Then there is the worst lunch lines, I wasn't able yo eat most of the time. Lastly the halls are packed.Student Review1y ago - Lois Allen Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I were rating this school on the staff I would give it a five star, but I cannot rate any higher than a two. I had three children complete their elementary classes at Lois Allen and a fourth complete through the fourth grade, I thought this was a really good school until I had to move my youngest to another school within Washoe County. My child was getting A's and B's but when we moved he dropped to D's and F's. I thought it was due to the move but when I looked into it I realized it was Lois Allen that failed my son. The school is behind in curriculum compared to other schools. I understand most of the parents speak little English and that is where a large percentage of teaching goes (translating or teaching English, but the other students are falling behind. Your children are suffering, please look into this for the benefit of your children and our future leaders.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 4845 Sun Valley Blvd.

"The sun valley area I live in right now… it’s not bad. However, the my neighbor is a gate community whit makes it safe. I’m not planning on living here for so long but this place is safe and quiet."

"I live in one of the nicest areas of Sun valley and it’s safe and peaceful. However the neighborhood has not a good reputation. The area needs many improvements but besides that… it’s a decent place to live."

"We have community yard sales and on my street we all give one another treats on holidays. If you are a lovely neighbor your neighbors will also be lovely. Also this is in regards to the Highland Ranch community."

"there are plenty of bus stops. everyone ha a car but really I hate living here it's just one giant trailer park. cheap to live here though, funny thing is it's harder to buy a crappy mobile here than to buy a somewhat decent home that's way to expensive to afford. go figure. "

"I live here and love it here! Very tight knit cul-de-sac of neighbors, beautiful homes, pride in ownership. The area has a reputation for the trailer homes in Sun Valley this is a newer sub-division and is above those older dwellings. A great place to live!"
