6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy girls started at Bass the beginning of January due to school zone policy. Being that was last minute and they were only Kindergarten and First grade I was a little worried having them attend at a new school. Through the process of transferring them, the front office staff has been nothing but kind helpful and very welcoming. On my girl's first day I got to do a walk thru and was able to walk my girls to their classrooms. Prior to walking my Kindergartener to her class I was greeted by her teacher Mr. Finney. He was a very nice man and I could tell immediately that he was passionate about what he does and takes pride in what he do. He shared his goals for each of his students and welcomed my daughter into his class with open arms. He reassured me just by his plans of teaching techniques and his years of experience that my daughter would fit in perfectly and she would be fine. And he was right! He did an outstanding job with helping my daughter progress and improve cause she was having quite a hard time the beginning of Kindergarten. Since she started here every day she comes home with new things she's learned and was proud to share how much she knows. He is the best!!! And I'm grateful for his passion for teaching. As for my first grader unfortunately I didnt get to meet her teacher. Her teacher was on leave and so she had a substitute for the rest of the year. But as the weeks and months went by, my daughter gained a lot (knowledge, friends and the happiness of being in her class). And she looked forward to going to school. Unlike her prior school she was going to, she never wanted to go cause she was scared of her teacher after an incident that happened to her. But not here, she loves it there, so its nice to see her love for school is back again. There's so many activities for the families to do together on days they have a school event. I enjoyed going to many of them. One of the many things I was very pleased about is how they get parents to be involved. From volunteering in areas that is needed during school hours or for school events. They have a new principal Mr. Gilmore he is awesome! really friendly and involve. All in all my husband and I are so happy that my girls are little Bass Bears. They are looking forward to being in the Second and First grade. And can't wait to go back to school. Summer just started. Hehe!Parent Review6y ago - Liberty High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLiberty is an amazing school with great leadership and teachers. It is a college prep school and my son will be graduating with 9 AP college level classes. The counselors are top notch and help the kids with an academic plan beginning in 8th grade. The sports teams regularly take 1st or 2nd place in the state demonstrating a very close team dynamic and commitment both on the part of the athletes and the coaches. The student council is a dynamic group of kids who plan regular activities and events, from various spirit weeks to movies on the field, decorating gingerbread houses, foodie fests, senior sunrise breakfast on the field, and much more. Like anything your child will get out what they put into it, but there is a ton of support in an my area they may need.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 823 Patagonia Ridge Ave #0.

What Locals Say about Paradise
- Happy Neighbor
- Resident

"Dog owners would likely appreciate living this neighborhood with ample green spaces, such as parks or open fields, where they can walk and play with their dogs. Access to pet-friendly amenities like dog parks or pet stores would also be a plus. On the flip side, they might not like living in an area with strict leash laws or limited access to outdoor spaces suitable for dogs. Issues like noisy environments, lack of sidewalks, or unfriendly neighbors could also be drawbacks for dog owners."

"There are a lot of drug addicts in my neighborhood, as well as homeless people. A lot of dogs that have gotten loose (they’re typically sweet). And I see the cops quite a bit. "

"There are many differences dogs in the area. It’s safe and the neighborhood is dog/cat friendly! Many people give dogs treats to the dogs in the neighborhood. You’d be happy with this neighborhood with all the dogs! There are some neighbors that break the SJ township ordinance and have 10 dogs that are often known to bark at 5am in the morning! "

"The neighborhood is relatively quite, not too many dogs, people are friendly for the most part and crime seems to stay at a minimum. But I have to say, do not expect any packages you forgot to bring in the house over night, cause they definitely wont be there."

"I've lived here for almost 3 yrs and I have not heard of any type of events nor have I hardly seen anyone decorate for any holidays. You hardly get a "Hello" from any neighbors, and everyone constantly speeds in the area with complete disregard for the safety of the children that do try to come outside and play every once in a blue moon. when people pick their kids up after school it's a complete nightmare, with people blocking driveways and standing in your yard. there is literally only one lady that I know for a fact in this neighborhood that goes around and picks up trash and dog feces, her own dog and others who leave it behind. The only good comment I can say about this neighborhood is that it can be quite at times. However, we do get a lot of solicitations here!!! "

"Nothing special about the area adide from it's close to the strip. I guess we're just lucky to have good and nice neighbors. Kids from 3 and up are everywhere and 80% of them are very rude and do not have parents watching them. "
