All three of my children attended Woodbury , and excelled as GATE and Honor Roll Students. The school does have a high number of minimal English speaking students ( which may affect its rating) HOWEVER, when you find a staff that cares GENUINELY about your child's education AND well being.... You KNOW you have found a COMMUNITY. My children excelled cause we were ALL involved in their education. My youngest son broke his femur and was out of school for TWO MONTHS, Ms. Sophiasend emails with concern, and best wishes for his recovery along with his assignments to GUARANTEE his continued success!! THATS what TEACHERS in a COMMUNITY do!!!!! Help them Help your child

2 minutes agoNEWThis school is gonna suck …already strict rules with tardy lockouts even by 1 second! school is HUGE what do they expect? This new principle is gonna fail! not only that, but everything here is used “mandatory “ even forms for parents to fill out that is not mandatory is said that is “mandatory “ when its not! even a simple “survey “ is used as “mandatory “ if this principle keeps it up, rating will go down! I get these annoying texts everyday! let me clearly say these TARDY are for kids walking to their classes! if they don’t walk fast enough they get locked out by 1sec unbelievable

The principal doesn't care. My child's class had an incident where half of the kids were vaping during school in class while the teacher was lecturing. When I asked to speak with the principal about my child having access to a controlled substance at school, she became hostile. She actually said, " this school is actually doing very well for the type of neighborhood it is"
