3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was the first part of my review that I accidentally cut off.I come from a family highly involved in education. My father and two of my uncles and an aunt who also lived in Henderson, were career teachers of over 40 years, my father taught in Henderson (though not at Taylor) for over 60 years. One of these uncles was a career teacher at Taylor . Their 22 children all went through Taylor during the 60s and 70s. The name for much of that time was Park Village Elementary. The name was changed, but the school has become a completely different place now. Most of us have gone on to get college degrees. My sister and husband are also teachers. I guess I truly expected that any of this would matter, but alas it did not. And the result was crushing to me!This week in September 2022 I was in town for a week. I normally live in Florida. My husband and I just wrote our first book, a children's story of creativity and imagination, of Alaska and Norwegian stories, of kindness and overcoming fear and other nice character traits. A simple, happy group of stories. And education and classroom use seemed to be such an ideal environment.Parent Review1y ago - Foothill High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had two students graduate from Foothill and they absolutely loved it. It’s actually a about 1/3 smaller than other CCSD schools and class sizes are around 30 so not bad at all. The students and staff are welcoming and friendly. Amazing band and music programs. I would highly recommendParent Review8mo ago - Lyal Burkholder Junior High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school just pushes kids through. Administration gets away with a lot, they choose how to discipline based on race. Safety is an issue and teachers are there for a check. Don’t send even if they relabel it a magnet school. Any other middle school is better than this.Parent Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 663 Marlberry Pl.

"I’ve lived here well over 30 years and the neighborhood is still a friendly one. The down side is former mayor fought us to rezone , for profit. Our homes under the master plan of this area didn’t matter- city council -ha- tossed out -now the neighborhood has and will continue to change its very disheartening. The area will turn from custom homes to a dense overpopulated neighborhood that’s why we are selling. No longer will you see horses, kids, dogs , but fast cars crime, and not enough city services to handle what exists already. There has been several robberies in our neighborhood. One dead body. Check before you buy. No sugar coating here- just the facts - happy house hunting "
