6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWell this is for the 2013-2014 school year, teachers that have worked here for years left! The school is on it's second principle, my daughter is on her third teacher for this school year. They won't get field day the last three days of school, there is bullying going on in my daughters class by the same girl that has been doing it for three years and the teacher will do nothing about her behavior! The school has lost over 400 students and I believe over 10 staff members, and more to follow! If I wasn't in the school district I would put my kids in a better school! We're they get awards for perfect attendance and meeting AR goals! The kids have to be taught up until the very last day of school they can't watch movies the last few days, when there not going to be paying attention anyways! They have hardly been on any field trips! There are many more issues so please be advised that even the best teachers left to seek better working environments! And I don't blame them! And parent who have tried to be involved get pushed out and their very aware they are not welcome!Parent Review10y ago - Farmington High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my kids were accepted into many good colleges and received some great scholarships. I have been very pleased with the education they received at FHS. Every parent I personally know has been very pleased with FHS too.Parent Review5y ago - Hermosa Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVaried. The Vice Principal goes above and beyond with some teachers and most coaches but many teachers seem to not feel the need to be readily available to students and some are very gifted in this aspect.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 2100 E 17th St.

"I have lived here just since January. I moved from Valif to be closer to my sis in Durango. I cannot afford living there. I love walking downtown with my little dog. I'm disappointed that there are no outdoor to go type places. I also have been concerned regarding alcohol and drug abuse in the are. people in shops are friendly and people I have met in stores. Teddy attracts most. I have met one person I would call a friend. I broke my wrist and I had meals on wheels for a short time. he has helped me a lot."
