3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst school I have ever known about and the worst that any of my children have attended. The school staff treat parents and students very poorly. If you don't like your job at the school, quit. If you don't like teaching, quit. If you cannot have a positive attitude while doing you job, quit. I wish I could say that I have just interacted with the staff on a bad day, but it is every single interaction that I have had has been extremely unprofessional and rude. I wish there was a way out of the school without moving. I would recommend that (if you can) homeschool your kids until you can get them into Cloudcroft or any neighboring school in Alamogordo (except Oregon I hear they aren't any different than North).Parent Review4y ago - Alamogordo High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience is so bad that i plan on getting a good job so i can afford to join school board meetings, and influence them to see whats truly going on within their school. I see bad teachers, gang members, security guards paying blind eyes. I dont ever see a teacher making an effort to push their students to be smarter. Ive basically been on my own for the past 3 years of being in this school yet ive had over a dozen teachers.Student Review1y ago - Chaparral Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am in 8th grade right now, and even though many people will say that this is a bad school, it really isn't that bad. Teachers find many different ways to teach if you don't understand the first time. It is an overall pretty good school and even though it may have a few things that aren't great, it is still a good school. I will miss my ELA teacher the most though. If you have to pick between MVMS and CMS, I would pick CMS. MVMS has been thought of to teach kids to be rude to eachotherStudent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 1315 Puerto Rico Ave.

"Very dog friendly neighborhood. For leashed dogs only very quiet dog and family oriented. However lack of grass and hard water may cause a problem. The proper waste removal and filter water is the fix."
