My son came mid-year int 7th grade and was well received by the assistant principal. My son has been doing great academically and the counselor has a very good line of communication with the parents. Lo score review from parents in my opinion come from parents that probably think their only responsibility is to drop off the kids in school and it's the teacher's job to make sure their kids get into college. You need to participate in the academic life, i email teachers check RealTIME for grades. It's also my responsibility to make sure my child succeeds. Weehawken high school is a great school.

I love this school! My son is autistic and honestly his teachers are amazing. They have so much patience with the kids. They try to teach them and learn new things everyday. I had seen a change in my son, he has learned new things and I'm amazed at the things he can do since he is non verbal and he never done those things before. I also love the fact that this school and any school in Weehawken teaches kids how to treat kids with disability with the same respect as kids with no disability. Bullying is horrible and calling other kids names is not okay. Ms. Thum and Ms. Douglass are the best!

My children came from a private school and started third grade in Theodore Roosevelt School. We have been very happy with the school. Our children were both behind but though help from the school and teachers, they both caught up and our daughter exceeded to get the highest academic achievement by the time they graduated 6th grade. Teachers were very engaged and I got a feeling that they really cared for my children and for their well being both academically and overall in the school.
