4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school many years ago and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.I was a very hard working straight A student and was bored out of my mind at this school. There were a handful of good teachers. and that is where it ended. The counselor was useless. Luckily I managed to do well and still ended up in a good college with a scholarship. I do not credit my success to this school though.Parent Review2y ago - Langtree Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are no computer classes offered even for senior elementary students. The computer classes in other districts start at kindergarten level. No creativity in art class.. kids feel bored when they have art. Barely teach any science/history. Kids fall behind from rest of the state's elementary school. The rating itself speaks that. The curriculum is way easier and no competitive spirit in the students. 4th and 5th graders still start with addition in Mathematics. It will be difficult for a student to survive if they change school districts at any level.Parent Review4mo ago - Richard C Crockett Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageClassrooms are overcrowded, teachers are stressed out and use inappropriate language and tone of voice with the students. The students are not held accountable for their negative behaviors which goes on every day, all day. Children are cursing at each other in front of teachers telling other students to shut the "f' up and teachers ignore it. Students are fighting, hitting, shoving each other and nothing is done by the personnel. I would not recommend anyone sending their child to this school. I'm on my second child attending this school, my child has 2 more years and I am already looking into having my child attend an alternative school. I do not want my child attending this school next year. Children who want to learn and get an education are not able to because of the significant amount of negative behaviors by other students not being addressed. Teachers spend more time trying to gain the attention of their overcrowded classroom then they spend on actual instruction. If you are moving to the area, just make sure your child does not have to attend this middle school.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 123 Sparrow Dr.
