"I’ve lived here for 2.5 years. I love this neighborhood. It’s very expensive to live here and the roads need work. But we are walking distance to a bus that goes into NYC. The downtown area is beautiful and they a have a cute theater and restaurants. I feel very safe here and have never had any issues. "

"Tenafly is famous for sensational schools. The town benefits from extraordinary proximity to New York and to New Jersey's famous shopping corridors, but maintains a quiet, country-like character and feel. We are blessed to live on what is undeniably one of the very quietest, least-used streets in town - making it ideal for kids to play. Incredibly close to Stillman elementary school, parks and playgrounds. Less than 3/4 mile from downtown Tenafly, 1 mile to Englewood Hospital and 2 miles to downtown Englewood. Abundant restaurants and services in the immediate area. Mixed demographics - no ghettoization. A near-to-ideal environment for families and couples who seek ease-of-access to shopping and New York City life, while maintaining a superb, tranquil lifestyle."

"Tenafly is the very BEST area to bring up a family! Children here tend to be intellectual, motivated and friendly. The schools are as good as any private schools anywhere. The town is very safe, and there is a lot going on in the community. One can become involved in so many ways - if you choose to. Tenafly is one of the very best areas in the USA to bring up a family- and is so very close to NYC! ...And who said you can't have it all !!! :)"
