6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGenerally excellent experience with South Mountain for both my son and daughter. Teachers communicate with parents well, are supportive of the students and offer a challenging curriculum. The principal is new, so jury is still out there.Parent Review5y ago - South Orange Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is empowered to keep his schedule but is also supported when he needs help. He feels safe and participates in the after school program although I wish there were a greater variety of activities. They lost "Model UN" which he was looking forward to - Students for change seems to have filled the gap.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 357 Academy St #A.

"It’s an amazing close knit neighborhood with lots of families, nice old couples & young professionals. The train is very easy & only 30 minutes to Manhattan. It’s all the conveniences of being almost in the city but living in a large colonial house with a yard instead of a tiny show box at the samr cost."
