Description

This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
This amazing Victorian style home built around 1900 has been lovingly cared for by the owners. From the moment you walk up the front steps, you will notice the new handrails and maintenance-free Trex porch and decking. There is room for separate sitting areas, and the plantation shutters allow the light to flood the room yet provide complete privacy. To the right would be the dining area. There is a very useful coat closet orward, there is a powder room with new fixtures. . This half bath is extremely useful, guests need not go upstairs to use the facilities. Here is where old meets new. The eat-in-kitchen is breathtaking. There are 42" cabinets, some open glass for display. The granite countertops accent the color of the wood floor, and the subway style tile backsplash makes clean up a breeze! The appliances are newer and Energy Star. It gets better! Just off the kitchen toward the back door is the laundry room. The back yard is fenced and there is a brick patio with a herringbone pattern. It is lovely and peaceful to sit and listen to the birds singing. The Master Bedroom has a bi-fold double closet, a pleasure even though there is plenty of storage. The main bath has newer high end fixtures, a tub/shower combination, and a good sized linen closet for towels, sheets and supplies. The second bedroom also has a good sized closet and is bright and airy. The third bedroom was modified for this owner to be used as an at-home office and extra guest quarters. This all-purpose room could go back to being a bedroom, nursery, or stay as is for home office usage. Original brick is showing on the walls, and all of the rooms have been recently painted. There is a small storage closet off the hall, and there is a ladder for access to the attic. The attic is completely floored for storage of luggage, off season garments, holiday items used only once a year..The Living Room, Kitchen, and Bedrooms, all have recently installed ceiling fans that provide comfort to the home.
Finally, the basement. There is an unfinished with a tankless water heater that was installed in January of 2020. . House is being sold " As Is". Tours will begin after February 1st, 2024, by appointment only. Interested parties must be pre approved for financing prior to scheduling a tour.

"don't live near french or commercial ave, Easton can get busy because of college students. Summers can be very peaceful and quiet. Most of New Brunswick is nice due in part to Rutgers and RWJUH. Also try to use the crime tool that Trulia offers and stay away from those heavy crime areas. "
