I've had several children go through RV. They are off to college and careers now and doing very well. They loved their high school experience, as the school has SO MUCH to offer. My wife and I are very happy we sent them to RV.

This school is not good for children with special needs. They will try to do everything they can but they fall short. My child is in 5th grade and reads on a K level. If the lowest reading level is K. The whole class will be on that level. Also discipline is not that great either. Some students are favor rather than others, so they just fall short. I would look at another school.

As a teacher, I’ve never left a job so quicklly. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to experience the district firsthand before enrolling my own children. The administration consistently avoids accountability, shifting blame onto teachers and aides while sweeping major issues under the rug. They lack the skills to handle conflict effectively and, as a result, fail many students.The high staff turnover and low approval ratings from current employees speak for themselves. While there are a few difficult colleagues, many dedicated teachers and students deserve far better. Having worked in multiple districts in the area, I can confidently say this one is deeply concerning. To this day, I still have nightmares about my time there.I feel compelled to speak out because many parents believe this is one of the best districts in the area. Unfortunately, the reality couldn’t be further from the truth.

They have a revolving door of principals and vice principals because of how many parents are unhappy with the way they run the school yet they never try to find any one better. I myself have gone through this school as well as both of my sisters. I personally had no problems but my sisters have been bullied, targeted and racially profiled there. They find any excuse to search and suspend the students. There has been an incident of a racist project being hung in the hallways and have no punishment to the kid or even the teacher who thought it was okay to display. This school focuses more on tearing down the kids than actually teaching them and preparing them for high school. You and your kids will be miserable dealing with this school. It’s not worth it.
