    "it’s not very pleasant to live here and it’s loud and smells of cigarettes. the sidewalks are cracked and dirty. living here, i never speak to my neighbors and my kids come home straight from school. the only place they hangout in is hoboken which is a much nicer area. it’s still safer here than other places in jc but downtown is the best place to go"

    "I am not a parent but the area at night can be a bit sketchy. You have to be careful with the homeless as have had some issues with people grabbing people or following people, some have been aggressive. I would definitely make children aware of it so they make sure they aren’t by themselves. Definitely better to be in a group. "
