Every special ed department has its problems but this one takes it to a whole new level. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience here was wonderful! Mr Silvestri (the principle) is a caring and amazing man. He has been there for my son in more ways I can say but what stands out is that once he gave my son brand new sneakers when he saw that there was a need for it! And Mrs. Lamonica the school secretary is an angel too, always willing to help as best as she can. I loved this school even though my son wasn't the best student. The teachers were fair and available to talk/email. This is a small school (only about 300 kids) which is also a great asset because everyone knows each other so the kids can't really get away with bad behavior. "It is very quiet here for the most part but sometimes I can hear outside noises. Barrington police roams around regulary which makes us feel safe. Everyone is friendly and we are close to many stores and restaurants. "
