There is plenty of outdoor seating to take in meals or enjoy the views on the expansive lawn, the side entry porch and the large front deck with dining area. Indoor dining areas include the kitchen island with 4 stools, a main formal dining room and a turret dining room overlooking the lake.
This house has rustic charm with modern accommodations including all new appliances. Four separate living rooms provide private spaces. There are 6 bedrooms offering plenty of room for everyone.
The second floor has 4 bedrooms and a formal living room in the turret with expansive views.

This property is close to Mt. Major Mountain which is very popular for year-round hiking with spectacular views of the lake and beyond. Gunstock Ski Area is only 5 minutes away where you can experience the longest zip line in the US, mountain biking, all-terrain Segways and horseback riding. The property is also located equidistance from Wolfeboro and the Weirs and Meredith for restaurants and other activities.
Wintertime transforms your experience into a wonderland of options. Gunstock Ski Area offers 55 downhill trails & glades, a terrain park with a half pipe, 50K of cross-country trails, tubing, night skiing and a horse drawn sleigh ride. The simple option of enjoying the house offers ice skating, cross-country skiing, hikes and snowmobiling across the frozen lake to nearby islands. Ice fishing is tremendous right in front of the house allowing for tending from a warm fire in the living room.

We provide you with mobile numbers of 3 family members that are available 24hrs a day to answer any questions or to correct any issues that may arise.
Neighborhood overview
Longview Camp is centrally located on Lake Winnipesaukee providing and equally short drive to the main lake towns of Wolfeboro and Meredith. Gunstock Ski Area, offering year round adventure, is only about 5 minutes away. Grocery stores and retailers are about 10-15 minutes away in Gilford & Laconia.
Other things to note
Our property offers our guest almost all that they could possibly want and never leave throughout the week. That said, we are an extremely adventurous family and through our experiences, I have assembled a list of nearby retailers, adventures and restaurants but also experiences that will come to you from Classic Boat rides, Waterski/wakeboard instructors and fishing guides that I will provide prior to your stay.
Special Events and Weddings:
We have had many requests for utilizing the property for special events, especially weddings. With prior approval, we have allowed a few small gathering of less that 20 total people for an additional fee of $2,000.
There is high speed WIFI if you happen to find the time or remember that you brought your phone or computer.
(Please be aware of the varying seasonal rates)

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child transitioned from Alton Central School, a k-8th grade school, to PMHS and he absolutely LOVES PMHS! It's a fairly small school with excellent teachers who genuinely care for the children and provide every opportunity for kids to stay after school if they need additional help. The school has many clubs which include World Culture Club, Robotics, and most common athletic teams. They have a big ski team. The Bass Fishing Team which won 1st in the state. This school DOES NOT have a football team. It's hard to believe but NO FOOTBALL TEAM, so they recently developed a fall "Homecoming" for the sake of the students. If kids want to play football I've heard kids can travel to Kingswood High School in Wolfeboro NH and play there but I don't know of anyone who has done this. I see my child attending school, happy with great friends and 5 As and 2 B grades that where 89% for the entire year. He gets up eager to go to school, likes to stay after when he needs help, has never complained of anyone bullying or any other disturbing issues and he missed only 3 days of school for doctor or dental appointments.
